Our Visiting Artist Program brings a rotating selection of painters and mixed-media artists to our gallery, offering a fresh and inspiring collection of artwork throughout the year.

Join us for a special Meet the Artist Day at Queenston Pottery, where you can sip bubbly, enjoy light refreshments, and connect with our Visiting Artist.

Featuring: Julie Forrester Clark

Julie Forrester Clark creates semi-abstract paintings that intuitively capture a deep love of nature, with a particular focus on Scottish coastlines and gardens. Each piece is built through textured layers of acrylic paint, applied using brayers, catalyst wedges, and found objects. Techniques such as scratching, sanding, glazing, blending, and adding pencil and ink marks further enhance the depth and complexity of the work, resulting in richly layered, expressive compositions.

Julie will be showcasing a live demonstration of her work.
