About the Artist

Hailing from Port Colborne, ON, Barbara is a self-taught artist with an intuitive approach to painting. Her work has been featured in juried exhibitions, galleries, private collections, and the South Niagara Artists Studio Tour. Influenced by the elements—Earth, Air, Fire, Water, and Spirit—her paintings transcend realism, inviting viewers into a world of texture, color harmony, and emotion.

During her Meet the Artist Day on Saturday, June 21, from 1:00 to 4:00, engage with Barbara, hear her story, and discover the inspiration behind her art. You can also become part of her creative process as our guests fill her blank canvas with words and set the foundation for her next painting.

Barbara will also be at our Gallery during our Summer Show on Saturday, July 12, from 2:00 to 4:00.
